The Australasian Coasts & Ports 2021 Secretariat has confirmed rooms in selected hotels for the benefit of Conference delegates. The hotels have been selected for their proximity to the Conference venue and you are encouraged to secure your accommodation through the Conference Secretariat to ensure that you receive the negotiated competitive rates.

Rooms are limited and are on a first come first served basis.

Rates are only available for Saturday 9 April to Wednesday 13 April 2022 inclusive. Nights outside these dates can be requested but cannot necessarily be guaranteed at the same rate.

Cancellation Policy

Rates apply to single, twin and double occupancy per room, per night and are inclusive of New Zealand GST.

All incidentals are to be settled with the hotel direct upon check-out unless alternate arrangements have been made.

If accommodation is required prior to this time the hotel requires the room to be pre-registered at the full nightly rate. Without pre-registration, the hotel cannot guarantee room availability.

Cancellation or reduction in room nights, no penalty if amended or cancelled 35 days prior to arrival. Cancellation or reductions in room nights within 35 days of arrival incur 100% cancellation penalty.

No shows will incur a 100% cancellation penalty.

Surcharges apply for all credit card payments made to the hotel.

*Should a booking need to be cancelled within 30 days of arrival due to border closures or any state lockouts, deposits paid to the hotel are to be refunded less any reasonable expenses the hotel has incurred. The guest will need to provide proof of domicile before deposits are refunded.

Hotel guests will be subject to the cancellation policy of their nominated hotel. Please refer to the cancellation policy outlined for your preferred property.


We encourage delegates to book accommodation well in advance as hotels impose strict release dates for block accommodation bookings, all rooms are released 30 days prior to the meeting and therefore accommodation bookings requested after 8 March 2022 will need to be secured by delegates through our Delegate Services Manager directly.


Either one night’s accommodation rate or a credit card is required to secure your room. Please note bookings that have not advised either method by 8 March 2022 will be cancelled. Delegates are required to settle their own accounts including incidentals incurred upon check out. This deposit or your credit card guarantee will be forwarded onto the hotel. The hotel at their discretion will deduct the guarantee from your credit card.

Amendments to Booking

Amendments to accommodation including hotel preference, check in/out dates and room type will only be accepted in writing.

Early Arrival or Late Departure

Requests for early check in or late check out must be advised in writing to Encanta Event Management. Please note that early check in may require the booking of an additional room night prior to guarantee immediate access to the hotel room.
