Andrew is a successful, experienced and qualified Senior Manager and Chartered Professional Engineer who has an extensive background in project management, design engineering, construction and infrastructure management with both commercial and public sector organisations. He is experienced in planning and organising multi-disciplinary engineering projects across various sectors from initial concepts and scoping through to design, construction, commissioning and handover.
Andrew is an excellent communicator responding in a competitive and high-pressure environment to successfully achieve results. He has a strong background in Transport Infrastructure an in recent years has focussed more specifically on Ports, Marine and Aviation.
Matt Balkham
Head of Water – Wellington, WSP
Matt is a Chartered Civil Engineer with more than 18 years’ experience of successfully delivering design of flood and erosion risk management and river engineering projects. Matt has provided technical hydraulic advice to hydraulic modelling, flood risk management and design projects. He is currently providing advice to clients on adaptation and resilience to a range of natural hazards including consideration of the potential effects of climate change. This includes advice to inform policy decisions, updates to design guidance and industry best practice documents and technical advice at a project level.
Matt has a broad range of technical skills ranging from project management, team and individual development and engineering ability. Matt is an enthusiastic and capable engineer who is driven not only to deliver but to do it innovatively and efficiently.
